Day 3 is just about over!
When Rhea Skomorowski posted the Lily Bee August Sketch Challenge, I knew I had to join in on the fun!! This type of layout is totally my style!!! I love the symetrical layout with small details. So I started this morning armed with my many punches and LilyBee paper. However, I was interrupted by a phoen call telling me that my grandfather was very ill. I rushed out to see him and sure enough it seems the parkinsons is taking over his body but he was still able to show some of his character. It was so nice to see him although sad to see him suffering - I've decided tomorrow I will sketch some recent photos of him... the only problem is I am not sure I'll find a layout perfect enough. Stay tuned!
Anyway, I did finish this off this evening despite the events of the day, the heat and pregnancy woes. Check out the following link if you'd like to follow along! http://lilybee.typepad.com/blog/2012/08/sketch-challenge.html
Here is the sketch! Ahhh I love it!
And here is my take:
Materials: LilyBee Double Dutch paper & stickers, as well as ABC stickers, SU punches, chocolate chip bakers twine, and buttons; Sprites flower
The picture is not my greatest but I love the pictures of Jane and her Dad... Sweet.
Have a great night!
Cathy
