At Your Service | Simple Scrapper SPARK Magazine

"I drive.
Oh boy, do I drive.
I drive my own kids and every one else’s kids.
From one end of town to the other.
My own schedule is dictated around where I have to drive someone and with who.
Do I have enough carseats? Boosters? Etc.
Often with meals and snacks to be eaten while driving from point A to point B.
I can tell you one thing though. It’s my turn. I am pretty sure my parents did the same.
And when a carpool opportunity comes up, I snag it.
But let’s just say for now...
I am at your service."

Every now and then someone captures MY joy.
It's rare but it happens.
Man, I wish I had more pictures like this.

Feeling Festive | Be Inspired Blog Hop

Hey all! Are you getting ready for the holiday season?
I atually am.
So ready.
I am now 7 and a half months pregnant. While I crave wine and slush, I am totally ready to sit down and hang out with family and friends lit up by the glow of the Christmas tree.
Yup, I am so very much ready.

I have been making Christmas and Holiday cards for the last few months. Because I make cards in bulk, I generally go with this watercoloured feel. I don't like to make the same cards over and over but I don't mind if they are similar style. You can find the stocking stamp in the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set by Stampin' Up!

I wanted to show you something else - Just last weekend we had our company Christmas party! This always gets me in the spirit! Part of my role in a family owned business is to get prizes for all the staff. This year we did Mystery Boxes and it didn't take long for me to find 30 boxes at Marshalls. These boxes are gorgeous already so I only needed a tag to finish them off for my purpose. Using the  Stampin' Up! Stitched Shapes Framelits with my favourite Bombshell font I was able to quickly create numbered tags.... you guys... Stitched Shapes has been a 'go to' product for me over the last couple years so make sure its part of your stash!

And yes folks.
It's that easy.
Don't over think it.
You only have so many hours in the day.

Thanks for dropping by to check out my project today!
Keep hopping along to check out Manuela Geiswinkler's project!! It's gonna be amazing!

See you soon!

A Blue Christmas | Fancy Friday Blog Hop

Oh my. You are in for a treat today! The Stampin' Up! past and current Artisans are back with a blue Christmas and holiday season.

Believe it or not, I feel like I am just about done my holiday shopping, which means that I am ready to rock and roll with the wrapping. I love, love, love using all the trims that Stampin' Up! has for us. When thinking aout packaging its only easy to pick out some gorgeous paper and then wrapped our trims around it.

This is a package of 4 cards in our acetate box. I typically give packs of cards out for Christmas and the acetate boxes are perfect for this. Using some extra trims on the top make it ready to unwrap!

Packaging isn't the only thing our trims and ribbons compliment well though. Consider adding some ribbon to key chains, ornaments, hair ties, etc.

Marisa Gunn is up next - I can't wait to see what she has created!
