Be Inspired | Punch It Out

When Summer arrives in Newfoundland, you have to take advantage. As such my time in the craft room is limited. I am trying to squeeze every bit of daylight I can into memories.

So, I am not overthinking. I have been keeping it incredibly simple. And why not when the products are so pretty?

This inspiration challenge was Punch it Out - living on the East Coast of Canada the whale suite was an absolute must have item yet I hadn't used it. If that's not inspiration and the push I needed, I am not sure what is.

Challenges are always incredibly important for my crafting "mojo". But in this case, punches makes life easy. So go ahead. Join us and get inspirated.

But first, be sure to keep hopping along to Manuela and the rest of the Be Inspired Design Team!

Ps. Never be without a googly eye!!!

You are the GOAT (Greatest of All Time) | Be Inspired Blog Hop

My baby girl is now 6 months old.
Every now and then I can find pockets of time to create.
It's not often and not usually when I want to but it is finally happening.
And it feels. so. so. good.

Today's Be Inspired Blog Hop is all about Sunshine and Happiness. And let me tell you, although these goats make me super happy, the fact that I was creating gave me pure happiness and joy.

Be sure to check out this super cute card using the Way to Goat stamp set from Stamping' Up!

So happy to be back and I really hope you are all taking care of himself in this crazy world. Keep hopping to Carolynn - she's a bright light in a world of darkness. Can't wait to see what happiness and sunshine she makes!

What Happens at Grandmas... | Be Inspired Blog Hop

43 days now.
Its been 43 days since we have been in self isolation.
I can count on my hand how many times I have been in my car.
In fact, I am sure I haven't filled it up with gas this month.
The kids hasn't been in school for 47 days.
I have good days and I have bad days. I am trying to stay positive. Still. It's crazy. Every day I am STILL trying to stay positive. Crafting helps me stay strong and be positive.

Most times I am not very inspired to craft despite knowing that it will help me move through my quanrantine days. It is our hope that we can help you stay inspired. And if nothing else distract you into thinking about brighter days when we can hug our family and friends again.

For now, enjoy my card. The design came to me as I tried to create with "stay home" in mind. I'd love to see how you take this house shape and bring it to life.

I simply cannot wait until I can drop all three of my kids off to Grandmas again... This Mama needs a babysitter and I truly won't "care what happens at Grandmas" that day. Drop and run. :)

Take care - I am sending you all the paper hugs!
Hop on over to Manuela! She is seriously one of my favourite Stampin' Up! designers!

Happy Birthday to You | Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop

It feels so good to be blogging again after having a baby! We always need some mama time but the question always becomes... when do we have time! Little Miss Claire is one month old now - its insane how fast time goes!

This month's Be Inspired callenge is to use Sale-a-Bration products. This happens to be the first time I picked up this gorgeous "Happy Birthday To You" Stampin' Up! stamp. I have seen some stunning projects with this stamp set.

Because I am just getting back into the craft room, I didn't try to over stretch my limited creativity. I went back to a tried and true style of mine with a watercolour background and a watercoloured image. Perhaps when I get some better sleep creativity will shower over me but for now I am going to enjoy the process of "just making".

Thanks for dropping by to check out my project today! Be sure to keep hopping along to see Manuela's project! I always love her creations!

Shake it Up! | Fancy Friday Blog Hop

It's 2020 and the Stampin' Up! past and current Artisans are back to bring you inspiration using current Stampin' Up! projects. Each month we currate a theme and this growing group of over 40 uber talented Creatives try to come up with a project. This month we are "shaking it up".

This Shaker Card project uses the Stitched Stars dies, irridescent sequins and Birthday Goodness stamp set. Did you pick up on the little stars amongst the sequins? Yup, they are the negatives from the swirly star die cut!
