Twinkle Twinkle Little Star | #tgifc170

This stamp set though.
"Little Twinkle".
I am in love.

This week's TGIF Challenge is to use repeat stamping.
By using this set, its incredibly easy.
I repeat stamped the stars to create a starry background.
Of course, using Pacific Point refill ink and an aqua painter to wash over the top of it.

Feeling Those Tropical Vibes | Fancy Friday Blog Hop

Welcome back to the Fancy Friday Blog Hop. Every month current and past Stampin' Up! Artisans get together to create a beautiful hop inspired by a common theme. This month's theme is Tropical Vibes.
It's a true treat to hop with these ladies each month. Each and every one of them have a special way to inspire and create. Enjoy... but perhaps a cup of coffee may be in order first!

Today's project was created using the Waterfront stamp set. I was inspired to use the palm trees in the set. Because this set didn't have every element screaming "tropical", using a silhouette was my best option.

If you are eyeing the birds in the sky, they come from the High Tide stamp set.  And of course the paper can be found (quite sneakily might I add) in the Share What You Love paper pack.

To create the sunset, I sponged with Mango Melody into Crushed Curry. Starting from dark to light I swirled until my heart was content. #swoon

So now you are headed from one Canadian Coast to the other - Check out Jenn Picard. She is incredibly talented and super easy to talk to. Be sure to leave her a comment on how awesome her project is! Keep hopping along feeling our tropical vibes.

Make a Wish with Broadway Birthday | Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Welcome back to the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop. Today's hop features the Birthday Broadway Suite from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. It's a perfect group of products to help create fun projects for birthdays of all ages!

I can honestly say I had so much fun with this Broadway Birthday Bundle.

It was hard to stray from the colours within the Broadway Bound Speciality Designer Paper. I used some of the candle images from the paper and included it on this card. From there, I couldn't help but use it with my favourite new Stampin' Up! colour. Gorgeous Grape.

Isn't that grape gorgeous? #lol

In the card above, the card base is a piece of Highland Heather cardstock. The softer pastel tones down the Gorgeous Grape colours.

Stacking the sentiments on top of each other is one of my new favorite techniques and this particular stamp set encourages you to do so.

Have you tried this technique yet?

Using my Gorgeous Grape refill ink, I created several watercolor backgrounds. Eventually, I incorporated those into my cards. The 'wish' due cut comes directly from the Broadway Birthday Die Thinlets. Stampin' Up! is always making products to help you create quick and easy cards like this one!

As always, thanks so much for hopping along today.

Its time to keep moving on to one of my favourite crafters, Charlet Mallet!

These Four Boys. | Simple Scrapper SPARK Magazine

These kids.
I can't even.
I couldn't wait to document these faces.

Jack chooses his friends quite carefully.
But there's no other kids I'd rather him choose then these 3.
Always together.
Always running.
Always laughing.
Sometimes crying.
But always looking for each other.
I can't express how thankful I am for including Jack and making him feel special.
Love them forever.

This layout was created for the AUGUST 2018 SPARK magazine exclusively developed for the online Simple Scrapper community. Within the community we are provided with sketches and journal prompts in order to help inspire members.

PROJECT DETAILS://

My project was stamped on Sahara Sand paper and coloured using the watercolour pencils along with a blender pen. In order to cluster the flowers around the stitched die, I cut pieces of the floral and placed them under and over the sentiment. Stampin' Up!'s basic pearls has always been a favourite of mine and they are a perfect embellishment to finish off this project!

Thanks for hopping along. Today's hop will feature projects using all seasons so don't stop here! Keep hopping to incredibly talented Charlet Mallet!
