You Are My Sunshine | Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

I had a lot of fun with this bundle.

I imagine it might be because I adore anything with stitching, whether than be machine stitching or faux stitching. The beauty of the Stitched Labels Framelits is that you don't have to work hard to make simple beautiful.

... because if you ask me, this simple clean look doesn't require anything extra.


While the Stitched Label Framelits comes with the straight edge, it does not come with the rectangular shape. You may want to check out this video I created for Creative Scrapbooker Magazine to find out how to get this look. Be sure to say hello and that I sent you!

Hi all,
Many of you have been asking about the two product shares I have created for the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. These product shares come with 4 card designs making them feel a little more like a card kit. However, there's no obligation to create - consider it like a bonus!

If you'd like a product share and live in Canada, I'd be happy to ship you one for an addition $3 via Canada Post Letter Mail. Each Product Share is $10. There are also some opt-in choices as noted below.

Little Elephant | Stamp to Share International Blog Hop



Why hello my Sweets!

I am back this hop hopping along with some Stampin' Up! International All-Stars! Each month we select a product from the current Stampin' Up! catalogues in order to inspire you and get you creating.

This month, we have selected the ever so cute Little Elephant Bundle. It just so happens that cute is right up my alley and as such this was a must have item!


A couple days ago, I did a guest blog post featuring this set so be sure to hop over to this Creative Scrapbooker Magazine blog post to check out those additional projects!


However, today's project was inspired by the colour scheme of the Stampin' Up! En Route product suite. You'll notice that my projects has several layers. I am counting 7 but who really can tell. So much dimension that I wonder if this project will ever fit in an envelope.... But all I say to that is #challengeaccepted


This stamp set and punch make life easy for you.

Color Your Season | Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop


We made it to August.

For those in the Stampin' Up! community,
it's a time when we start planning for the holiday season.
#yikes
It also marks the release of a new limited-time product called Color Your Season!
So here I am showing you a project to satisfy your jingle!

PROJECT DETAILS://

This is a 3.5" x 3.5" square on water color paper. I stamped the image three times and coloured it using water colour pencils and an aqua painter. To get the stitched edges, I used the straight edge from the Stitched Labels Framelits. In order to make the red and green pop from the image, I used both these colours on the card front. First I embossed a 4" x 5.25" card front using the Tufted Embossing Folder and secondly, I distressed the edges with Garden Green Ink. A pop of the label from the newly released Stitched Seasons Framelits helped tie it all together.

Imperfectly Perfect | Simple Scrapper SPARK Magazine


things are never perfectly perfect.
we know that.
yet, I strive for perfection in some way every day.
Starting with the perfect cup of coffee,
praying for the perfect amount of ‘me time’ in my chair before I hear the perfect pitter patter of feet.
And from there I wish for the perfect weather.
not too hot. not too cold.
mostly not too windy.
 I want my hair to be perfect by spending the smallest amount of time on it.
Many times I wish for my children to behave perfectly. Especially in public.

But I settle for imperfection.
Always.
I don’t overthink it.
I can let things go.
Not all the things.
But most of the things.

I don’t care that we leave the dishes on the counter over night or forget to make our beds in the morning.
I see the toothpaste all over the sink then look the other way.
Sometimes we eat meals without vegetables. And other times we might have ice cream twice in one day.
The lights are left on and there’s tuffs of dog hair rolling across each room.
It’s not unusual for me to wear my shirt inside out. And sometimes even two
different shoes.
I sometimes fight with my husband.
Other days I raise my voice too loud at the kids.

My family and I.
We are truly imperfect.
we are living in this imperfect life.
Always in the pursuit of happiness.
Always trying to learn.
Always trying to be better.
so I guess, it would be a great reminder to each of us.
especially me. that maybe.
just maybe.
imperfection is oh so perfectly perfect.
