Day 7: Ultrasound pics = CHECK!

Hey, Hey!

This challenge is working out for me because its forcing me to really do some of the things that I have been putting off!!!  Here's another small item off the list for me in regards to an ultrasound layout!

Firstly, here's the better picture of yesterdays pic. I added some flowers as well... I found them while searching for something on today's challenge... I don't know where they came from though - I think Michaels! Anyways, they have that 'push pin' look I was trying to get.

OK so today I had already decided that I would use the scrapbooksteals mid week mojo layout but I didn't to find a picture picture... I finally landed on my ultrasound pics for Baby #2.  I pictured this to be more of an "elegant" layout so I thought that the sketch worked out to accomplish that... Only I couldn't get the paper I picked out (Little Yellow Bicycle Swoon... omg, I have to sue this soon!) to work out... I landed on some paper I picked out for another challenge... Yeah, I am impressing myself too, I am getting more efficient as I go through my paper dozens of times. Anyway, it ended up to be more of a cute layout, which suits me just fine! I wasn't sure on putting flowers on a layout for a boy but as a baby I am sure he won't mind.... I used some twine to really scale it back.

So here's a link to the challenge - I invite you to play along!! Remember that it never needs to be exact, of course - play with it! That's the fun!! http://scrapbooksteals.stealnetwork.com/wp/2012/08/08/bo-bunny-mama-razzi-mid-week-mojo/

Pardon the interruption... but my hubby just brought me coffee in my office! Don't you love that? Its likely a sign he's a keeper! :) Well done ME!

Here's my take on the challenge:
Materials Used: FancyPants "Its Your Day" Hodgepodge paper, FancyPants "Childish things" Buddy paper, Lilybee Buttercup Rain, SU pool party ink to edge everything, SU twine, SU Pool party baker's twine, BG flags, Bo Bunny trim, Imaginisce cupcake flower, SU faceted vintage button

Well, as always the journalling is the important thing!

Cheers!
Cathy
