Day 4: 30 Days of Scrap

Day Four!! Wow, still on track!

In honor of my ailing grandfather, I dug into the Christmas photos and found this picture that I absolutely adore. I must say I stared at this page forever and am still not happy with it but I think its one of those pictures that you just feel like nothing does it justice.

The heat is still pretty high here in NL and I am seriously considering moving my scrapbook room downstairs... Think Ryan will agree? ha!

The only inspiration for this layout was the picture itself. It was taken on New Years Day and Pop wasn't feeling well. However, with a new camera in hand I was taking pictures of the family and captured a rare moment of pure joy when Pop was watching Jane. And although you may not know him I am sure you can relate in some ways. Its just a memory that will stay with you!

Materials: Bo Bunny Midnight Frost Ice paper, Bo Bonny Midnight Frost Powder paper, Authentique Genuine stickers, BG Ambrosia Alphastickers, Prima flower died with SU Night of Navy ink, SU vintage faceted buttons, Su library clips, Bo Bonny Timepiece chipboard, SU twine, Prima wood tickets

So that's it for today - I may try to get a card done tonight - we'll see! This did inspire me to want to spend more time in my scraproom.

  2. It's gorgeous! It's hard when you have a picture that's so important to you, but you definitely did it justice.
