It's another card of the week!!
I've had this idea in my head for a little while now - my daughter keeps telling me she's having a "rainbow" party (she's not... strange).
What you'll need:
- Cardstock of many colors (More Mustard, Bashful Blue, Pacific Blue, Pumpkie Pie, Gumball Green and Mambo Melon)
- Build a Cupcake Punch, circle punch, owl builder punch
- Tiny Tags stamp set
- Basic Pearls
- Basic Black Ink
- Ovals Framelits
- Tasteful Trim die
- Black journalling pen
- cherry cobbler baker's twine
- dimensionals and tape runner adhesive
How to do it yourself:
1. Cut your More Mustard cardstock whisper white cardstock 8 1/2" by 5"5". Score in the middle
2. Cut your Bashful Blue 4" by 5".
3. Use the Big Shot with the Oval framelits to cut out the ovals in multiple colors.
4. Place several dimensionals on the card and create your rainbow. It should pop off your card.
5. Punch several white clouds from the cupcake builder punch, as well as several mini hearts from the owl builder punch. Did you know that I love that heart?!? (ha!) Adher them to the card using dimensionals.
5. Taking your small circle punch, punch on grooves on the side. I just "eye-balled" it.
6. Wrap you baker's twine around the bashful blue cardstock.
7. Using the Big Shot, cut out the tasteful trim with mambo melon.
6. Adher the blue card onto the yellow card base
7. For an extra "pop", trace your border with the black journalling pen.
8. Add basic pearls for additional dimension
Well, I have some BIG news.
Catherine Stockley and I finally launched our exclusive Stampin' Up site. We have challenges (which doesn't need to be Stampin' Up) and are in the midst of gathering our design team. I've been designing graphics all day... have I ever mentioned how fun My Digital Studio is? So stay tuned on lots of details with that!
Still working away on tutus, capes, wands, badges and crowns...
Cathy
