A red face.

I have some new friends! LOL... over at Fab Friday and I saw their challenge this week - its a color combination.
For the record, this is a color combo I would absolutely never in 100 years look at... unless forced to do it.  And so.  I am forcing myself to do it now.

To this day when I see subtles I say
"You go. Get outta my KITCHEN!"

I know what you are thinking, they are beautiful colors... so what's my problem? I think it started from the day I was born... WITH A RED FACE.
(keep going, I am not a lunatic)

Not a subtle in this world matched my red face. Some people call this red face phenomenon rosaeah (pronounced ros-ae-cha)... but its not.  Its some bumpy-never-to-go-away flare up that likes to come out when I am angry, hot, exercising, boozing, embarassed, etc.

Where is she going with this....?!?

And so, I wore my glasses more often to take the attention off my face.  I also NEVER could wear anything in that color category.  In fact, red looked the best on me.  Go figure...  This hatred grew for 31 loooooong years.

Until... NOW...

To be honest... I love it!
The patterned paper is from Epic Day and the stamp is Chaulk Talk.  I embossed the Chaulk Talk with pewter embossing powder.  I also used the lattice embossing folder (love)... and finally I layered the crisp cantalope ribbons x three.

Make sure that you check out our challenge blog at Catherine and Cathy Create for three new challenges due August 31st!

Cheers!
Cathy
