Kelly Purkey weekend

If you have been dying at what we all did for the Kelly Purkey weekend at the Paperie, here's the photos!!

Three layouts inspired by Kelly Purkey herself from the Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm collection... love it!!The So Lovely page as an element that looks like washi tape but in fact its thick scor tape with little mini beads adherred to it.  Very cool look.

The Princess Karoake layout as some light masking using a Mister Huey's mask but its actually a purple distress ink.  In addition the little "flowers" were distressed with a bright blue Tim Holtz distress ink.

The last layout (Jane & Jack) has a hidden journal tag under the "love you more" popped up piece.  Its folded in half.  Very cool.

Next we did some tags/cards that was created and taught by Sara Case Strickland.  Since, I didn't take the photos yet of mine, here's the link to see hers!  Lots of cool techniques were taught here using Rangers' dylusions inks, inkagold and using gesso.

Then we did a couple mini albums.  The first was a mini album that took a good while that was created by Krista Wells.  This mini album is lovely and I would have loved to make a dozen of them.  However, I made it for one special lady:: my mother in law... so if you are stumbled upon this... No peeking!!  This is a mother's day gift for her that will sure touch her heart. Perhaps, I will even make her two sisters a copy but that is not yet in the works.

Here's the completed pages using the Dear Lizzy day book looks like this:

And finally, I did another mini album for my little nephew named Rivers.... but stay tuned as I don't want to spoil the surprise... Hoping she doesn't run across this comment. :)
