I was lucky enough to attend a Mixed Media class with my friend, Cathie Reed at our local scrapbooking store (LSS). You heard that right, we still have a local scrapbooking store - it's called The Paperie.
Cathie showed us two layouts where she used a new splatter brush by Tim Holtz combined with some Colour Bloom sprays by Prima.
There's several layers on these layouts and of course, they are backed on watercolour paper. It may be difficult to see but there's some gesso and molding paste, Stampendous aged glitter, vellum, etc.
I love this photo of my parents. We went out to a little Italian pizza spot on a random Wednesday. My mother always talks while she's getting her photo taken... I am beginning to think she is wanting to "ruin photos" on purpose.
