List Your Quirks #24 | 52 Lists Project

Last year I bought a book called the 52 Lists project by Morea Seal.  I had heard of the book but I didn't think much of it until I had it in my hands.  It's stunning just to look at.

At the same time, I had listened to a TED Talk called the Miracle Morning.  I began realizing that when I got up before my kids, I was a nicer and better version of myself #reallife. The Miracle Morning essentially encourages you to do six actions before you start your day in order to be your most efficient self. Part of the Miracle Morning is to write as well as do meditation. For me, this book was like a reflection or mediation in a sense.  It put things into perspective and wasn't difficult to do.  And no, I don't do the Miracle Morning but I certainly had some take-aways that got me thinking.

Every time I write a list, I learn something new about myself.  I want to continue to grow and progress and this book helps me do that.

Note that some people go in order of the lists in the book.  Some people do this every week.  I don't put those pressures on myself.  I pick a list and go for it.

I ended my list there until I read my list to my husband - I asked him what he thought my quirks were... and so the list continued on the other side.  I will be adding that I also get over the moon excited when it's garbage day.  I love seeing bags of trash leave my house.
