Superbowl Sunday

Hi all,

Hope you are all enjoying the Superbowl like my husband is... I am having some me time.  I've got a few cards on my list.  So I thought I'd try to be inspired by some challenges.

My husband's grandmother and of  course, now my grandmother has had an accident but he recovering in the States so this is a card I made for her on behalf of the family.  I plan to do a little collage for her so stay tuned once I find those pictures! This card was made with the Authentique Lively collection as well as some Stampin Up product (Patterned Occasions stamp set, basic rhinestones, mambo melon ink, early espresso ink and heart punch).  I followed the Mojo Monday 278 sketch for this card! Love how it turned out! This card also falls in play for the Authentique color challenge:

In addition, our local scrapbooking store has a monday mojo challenge and this week's is to use dry embossing. I adore the perfect polka dots from Stampin Up so I went with my "go to".  Its a fun background   to help give dimension to a children's birthday card!!

Other supplies used were (all Stampin Up): Button Buddies set, 1inch circle punch, pumpkin pie buttons, googly eyes, basic pearls, cherry cobbler and lucky limeade baker's twine, Itty Bitty Banners stamp set, whisper white cardstock, real red cardstock, basic black ink, lucky limeade ruffled ribbon, and Big Top Birthday DSP stickers.
My last card actually is a sketch from the weekly challenge over at Studio Calico.  This is totally my type of sketch!! I love how this one turned out!!  I decided to use hearts to make a valentine card which qualified for the Pink Elephant Challenge!

Supplies used: Studio Calico Abroad collection, Studio Calico wood veneers, cherry cobbler cardstock and Stampin Up baker's twine.

Here's the remaining layouts that I did at the retreat that I promised yesterday!! :)

I just adore this photo of Mister J.  There is a Freckled Fawn washi strip at the top and the clouds "paper" is a Dear Lizzy vellum sheet as its transparent.  There are also Robyn's Nest dew drops on it as well as some white Mister Hueys to give it a little speckle. Otherwise, this is pretty well all from the Dear Lizzy Neopolitan collection. Super sweet!

This next layout is super simple and is inspired by a Two Peas in a Bucket video.  It shows a different drawing technique in how to use the Mister Hueys mist. I used some Dylusions mist as well. This has to be one of my absolute favories.

Materials were Bazzill cardstock, Dylusions ink, Mister Hueys, Studio Calico vellum shapes, Stampin Up doily, American Crafts glitter thickers, Freckled Fawn washi, Maya Road tricket butterfly hat pins, and shopevalicious.com shoot smile badge buttons.

And finally, the pictures in this are not fantastic but they crack me up.  My husband had lined up all of Miss J's toys to use as an audience when she scored goals in the soccer net.  Miss J somehow learned a victory dance. My husband then took snaps throughout the dance.  Absolutely hilarious!! (Both of them)

Materials used is Simple Stories Snap Life, Freckled Fawn wood veneers, Freckled Fawn washi, Bella Blvd Sophisticates chipboard, Pink Paislee stars, AC precision pen, BG Basics mini memo stickers, Jillibean Soup alphas, Shopevalicious.com shoot smile badge buttons.

Have a great day!
