Googly Eyes and MOJO273

Hey all!!

A miracle happened today and both children went for a nap at the same time!! I set out to make a couple birthday cards, as well as complete a layout that I had already planned out for Jillibean Soup.  Mission complete!! Its amazing how fast it comes together when you already have it planned.

For the Mojo273 sketch, I ended up turning the sketch upside down and finally using a retired stamp set called "Look Who's Turning" that I scored off of the clearance rack awhile back... or on discount at least. I whipped out my googlie eyes... and I was in love!! Check it out? Don't you love him?  Its for a special boy in Halifax but I don't know if I can part with this guy!

Materials Used (All Stampin Up): Googly eyes (212 holiday catalogue), Look Whose Turning stamp set (retired), gumball green ink and cardstock, Just Add Cake DSP, tempting tuquoise cardstock and ink, mini punch set, basic rhinestone, whisper white cardstock, irridescent glitter, crystal effects, windows framelits, and piercing mat.

These "fake" stitching are darling I can't stop doing it - These are created using the Stampin' Up Windows Framelits and then corresponding piercing mat.

You'll also notice that i restamped my numbers image and then punched out a 1 inch circle. I popped it off using the leftovers of my SU stamp set - have you ever recycled this material?

You'll notice I got into the fuzzy cutting (hand cutting an image) and popping it off the page.  It truly makes a bit impact.  I couldn't stop there... I really wanted to use more googly eyes!!
Materials Used (All Stampin' Up): Look Whose Turning stamp set (retired), googly eyes, tempting turquoise ink, mini silver brads, Brights collections paper, and whisper white cardstock.

On this card, you will notice the NEW CLOUD EMBOSSING FOLDER from the spring catalogue which is released on January 2nd!! So amazing - what a great impact it made on this card!! I used the green ribbon to make it look like grass. Isn't it sweet?

Materials Used (All Stampin' Up): Clouds embossing folder (new 2013 spring catalogue), whisper white cardstock, googly eyes (holiday 2012 catalogue), Fantastic Words stamp set (retired), Sweetheart stamp set, mambo melon marker, pumpkin pie marker, basic black ink, and gumball green grosgrain ribbon.

Materials Used (All Jillibean Soup except cardstock), summer squash soup paper, summer squash soup carstock stickers, corrugated green alphas, soup labels, chilled strawberry soup cardstock stickers, green journalling spots (numbers), SU heart punch, and white cardstock.

I truly loved this sketch so give it a whirl!!!!! Click it for details to enter for December.

Cheers!! I am hoping to get a couple layouts done over the next couple days - stay tuned!
Cathy
