CCC November Challenge: Thankful for Fall

Wow, I have clearly lost my mind!

I forgot to post my CCC November monthly challenge!   I think I'll be OK but Christmas is around the corner... so no promises! (I like being a little frazzled and unreliable. )

So, this box was created in two pieces.  I used the SU gift box punch board and I cut off the lid for a 3"x3"x3" gift box.  Then I cut a 3x4" strip of matching paper and I die cut the pumpkin in the centre.  I scored the lid making a 3x3 square. I then adhered the lid to the box and stuck a window sheet to seal the box.

Your turn! You have until the end of month to play along with this month's challenge!
CHALLENGE: Thankful for Fall

Cheers!

Happy Canada Day!!

How fitting is the Catherine and Cathy Create challenge for this month?
NATIONAL PRIDE!!

With two kids, it seems that every holiday and festivity it all keeps getting bigger.  That might not mean the kids are getting more and more but instead it means that I am trying to soak every second of happiness that these kids exude.

Isn't it nice to be happy?
So, in pure National pride, we eat these cupcakes and raise our flags with pure glee!
Won't you join and play along with National Pride?

Happy Birthday Canada!
Thanks to the smily ladies at Sugar Mama's, our local cupcake store for our prop today!

Catherine and Cathy Create Easter Banner

I was in an Easter mood the other day - mistakenly thinking Spring was on its way.  Unfortunately another blast of winter is here!!  Yuck!

I created this for the Catherine and Cathy Create April Monthly Challenge!
We were inspired by spring cleaning and the following photo:
This banner was sewed together and made out of fabrics and Stampin Up! Bigz dies.  The background is burlap sewed together with the SU natural twine. Did you know that you can use fabric with your Bigz Dies..

To create the eggs, I used the retired Oval Bigz die!

If you look up close, the Bunny was created using two dies:
1. Autumn Accents Bigz Die - I used the small leaf die for the ears
2. Circles #2 - I used the circle dies for the body of the bunny.

My little man was very drawn to the pom pom balls, which came from the sale-a-bration item, Hearfelt Banner.  Sale-a-Bration is over now so I hope you managed to snag it!
Dont forget to join us at Catherine and Cathy Create for the three April challenges for your chance to win the Filmstrip stamp!

CCC019: Doodle-ista January challenge

Oh my gosh - the last 48 hours have been ridiculously eventful!! We just had a major storm (Hercules) giving us 37 cms of snow.  I think anyone on the East Coast would have gotten hit with this. We also lost power! It went at 9am and when I woke up this morning it was back on!! Phew!!

So, today I am back with the January Cathy and Catherine Create challenge.. DOODLE-ISTA!  Any kind of doodle or anything handwritten inside or outside of your project.  Make sure you LINK UP because we have the brand new Geometrical Stamp Set as a prize this month!

Oh, I do love to journal and doodle - put pen to paper!! See my doodle?  Its the black line that going around the spotted patterned paper.
Alright, well, I am in pure organization mode as we have a reno starting at our house tomorrow!

Cheers!
