Thank You Bibi | #tgifc96

This week on the TGIF Challenge Blog is a designer inspiration challenge.  Bibi is a beautiful artist that makes her projects come alive.  She often uses floral images and techniques. I created this card that showcased her style but remained within my own style.

To create this card, I heat embossed the stamped images onto watercolour paper.  I used an aqua painter with Stampin' Write markers in order to colour these images. The colours used were old olive, crushed curry and watermelon wonder. You can also see that smoky slate was used to lift the sentiment off the page.

With that said, I want to send a huge thank you to Bibi as she has now left our TGIF and Stampin' Up! families to pursue other opportunities.  Thanks for the inspiration Bibi - we will continue to watch you grow.

Make sure to play along with this challenge this week!

Cathy

  1. I love everything you create and follow you be email. Can you explain how you watercolor wih the markers and aqua painters? Do hou color with the markers first and pull the color with the water or lay ink down on a block with the marker and pick it up from ther with the aqua painter? You do a terrific job!
